This blog is for general information purposes only.
I am not a mental health professional nor am I a doctor. I am someone who has struggled with Bipolar II Disorder since my teens. The diagnosis of living with Bipolar II Disorder was made in 2019 which means that my illness went undiagnosed and untreated for 40 plus years. Over those years I developed many poor coping strategies that I have had to unlearn and replace with new tools and techniques that enable me to live with this illness.
This blog does not provide medical advice. It does not give a diagnosis. While treatments may be discussed, it is not a treatment service.
I stress that the information provided is not a substitute for medical or professional care. You should not use the information you read here in place of:
a visit;
a call consultation;
and the advice,
of your doctor or mental health professional. I urge you, please do not disregard medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on this blog. Similarly, do not rely on the information I share here in place of seeking medical advice.
What I share is my experience only. Your experience will likely differ so your treatment plan will likely differ as well. This is normal. We each have our own path to healing.
If you have any questions about anything you read on this blog, I urge you to talk to your doctor or mental health professional for more information.
If you require the help of a mental health professional, please contact your doctor immediately or go to your nearest hospital or walk-in clinic. IF YOU HAVE SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, PLEASE CALL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK THE HELP YOU SO RIGHTLY DESERVE. You are more worthy than you appreciate, and you deserve the opportunity to heal.
